The third Stein notebook is dedicated to Remo Salvadori, an exponent
of the generation that followed that of arte povera and conceptual art,
an artist capable of a new way of conceiving and formulating art. A
Stein notebook of a different kind, unlike the previous ones, a book
about the artist that was supervised by Salvadori while it was being put
together.
In the works presented, even though the surface changes, the
squared shape remains constant so that the interplay of shapes and
folds used by the artist in an energetic, dynamic way appear in an
infinite number of variations. Germano Celant writes in the text: his
“inner vitality is his soul, the manifestation of his awareness of how to
