After the one-person exhibition in 2005 at the Galleria Christian Stein in Milan, Paolo Canevari exhibits at MACRO in Rome. Paolo Canevari (born in 1963) confronts himself with classic tradition through the use of materials belonging to contemporary popular culture: rubber, newspapers, comic-strips. Between 1989 and 1990 he lived in New York, where he had the opportunity to begin his artistic career and to have his first exhibition. Then he exhibited in Los Angeles, Paris, Kiev, Vienna, Dublin, Bangkok. In the last years he dedicated himself to animation and to installations and performances focusing on transiency of art. He lives and works in Rome. The exhibition at MACRO will feature different works of this artist including some original pieces.
