The book of Joseph Kosuth is a volume dedicated to the conceived, realized and installed job sull' Island of Saint Lazzaro to Venice in occasion of 52° the International Exposure d' Biennial art of Venice of 2007. L' work, entitled " The language dell' equilibrio" , it is composed from yellow writing to neon, of approximately 150 meters, installing along the perimeter of walls that they encircle l' island. The realization extends on all the surface of the north-west wall and it scrambles up on the facade of the church, the bell tower and sull' observatory of the situated monumental complex sull' island.

the text composes that it is fruit of un' deepened search sull' water, on
the relationship between l' vital primary element, the concept and the linguistico
meaning. The written ones in Italian, English and Armenian, suggest also
the linguistica variety of the witnesses contained in the library of the
convent. The yellow color of neon has been chosen based on the historical
simbologia, than laughed them all' age of the foundation of the monastero,
when the yellow era virtue index, intelletto, esteem and maestà.
