The first of a series of important projects that Daniele Puppi will realize in 2008 at prestigious Italian and international art institutions such as the Lisson Gallery in London and Richard Meier's Ara Pacis in Rome.
Installed at the Hangar Bicocca is this site-specific workm, never exhibited before, which has grown out of the structure of the place. Fatiche is the title Puppi gives his video-audio installations created in 16 consecutive days' work in the space of the Hangar Bicocca.
He transforms the architecture into an experience of the senses in continuous expansion, subverting the normal concepts of time and space.. Viewers are involved in a multi-sensorial experience in which they explore and rediscover the place they find themselves in, with boundaries called into question in a continuum of time and space that goes beyond volumes, surfaces and lines
