The range of artists Charles Booth-Clibborn worked with stretches across generations from Alan Davieand the late Terry Frost through to Damien Hirst and Marc Quinn as well as the younger generation of artists such as Gillian Carnegie and George Shaw. All works are commissioned and published by the Paragon Press. This book illustrates and documents all twenty-five projects produced between 2001 and 2006, offering a unique survey of the last five years by one of the most prolific print publishers of our time.
The 28 projects by 18 artists presented in this volume provide an overview of the British Art scene at the beginning of the 21st c. Each project is fully illustrated in colour in chronological order and accompanied by essays, mainly based on interviews.
