The Extra Mile is a sensitive, insightful account of Noel Wynyard's life as a successful Fleet Street editor who turned her back on her career to answer the "still, small voice" of her religious calling. It is also an internal biography, covering the outward events of Noel's life and is presented with careful discernment to the reader in terms of the moral, spiritual and intellectual choices Noel felt she was being offered. One example being the discovery of her own gift for healing which subsequently led to forty years practicing as a renowned Christian healer. Her initial hesitation to use her gift gave way to a yearning to find out as much as possible about the history of healing within the Christian Church, and we follow the steps of Noels' progress towards becoming a full-time charismatic healer.
