"Rice / Annex. The Notebooks of Rice" documents in this fifth issue "Etico_F. Five movements across the landscape," Rice's new project, Museum of Contemporary Art in Sicily on artist residencies made in four places in Sicily: Capo d ' Orlando, Enna, Ficarra and Termini Imerese. The project curated by Daniela Bigi focuses on listening and reading the local landscape. In his remarks the editor recounts the experiences of five artists who have achieved the intemational site-specific works: Massimo Bartolini, Flavio Favelli, Hans Schabus, Marinella Senatore and Zafos Xagoraris. In this issue we also inaugurate two new spaces dedicated to the SACS door of Sicily for Contemporary Art edited by John Leuven, and Friends of the Rice Museum. Elsewhere, another offers a long interview with Pier Paolo Pancotto Miltos Manetas, the greek artist dwells also on his visits to Italy and re-read at a distance time and space. Who, what, where, the depth of the columnist on the world, now headed by Laura Barreca, opens to contemporary scenes such as new media art by tracing a brief history of artists, actors, curators and conservators intemational sector.
