The volume contained in a box, is part of a work that traces the history of Venetian painting from its origins to the early twentieth century. In line with the other volumes, the scholarly research in the area, made favoring the sake of clarity the scope of the current provinces of Veneto, is intended to highlight not the figure of the individual artist and his path, but rather the work assessed in its connective tissue, focusing on the importance it has had in a certain context, a certain place at a certain time, in relation to all the others that surrounded it.
